Drawing real birds from life is hard, folks. Birds, espcially raptors, are really figety creatures.

These were done during my first visit to a raptor rehab I'm trying to voulenteer at. Right now I haven't been that often since Missourah's been pelted with snow and ice. Lots of ice. Top ones are bald studies, bottoms are all of a red-tailed hawk that was refusing to eat. :)
