Once in a while I force myself to draw a picture only with pencil and this is the result. It's my harpy-gryphon Feslex, teaching some forest animals how to read. By the look in his face though the bunny seems to be either be really bad or keeps on skipping/ repeating lines constantly. My old man doesn't seem to approve of either of that. xD It's a shame I didn't manage to fit him into the page completely and cropped off his wings. *sighs* Working on composition I must! *shakes fist* Feslex is © by M. Our first assignment in Illustration II this semester was to illustrate a single word, and to do it in a way so that it wasn't blatant nor achingly subtle. The word crocodiles kept cycling through my head- not as the word to illustrate, but as the subject matter- and so I chose "awkward" as my word and came up with the idea of a crocodile businessman bring home a wildebeest friend from work only to find his wife preparing exactly that for dinner. Heh. Awkward.

Here's something kinda different. A digital painting I did for a class. It's a magpie.. um that's it really >.>; I attempted realism but then got bored, tired and gave up lol. Heavy use of references though sadly I don't know where they came from.. it was an old file I found on my comp from ages ago. Done in photoshop.
